Resell Rights Review explain how the resell-right-process works and how you can use resell rights as a monetization tool in your business.
There are many approaches to selling e-books online. You can start your own e-book publishing company and sell the products you manufacture. But if you don’t want to invest in this, there are some other easier ways, the most popular of which are affiliate marketing and reselling.
Writing an e-book is time consuming but very often selling e-books online takes even more time and money. The Net is full of e-books and e=book publishers but this does not mean that there is no room for another successful e-book reseller.
If you want to sell e-books online, the first thing you need to do is to obtain the resell rights (or even better the masters resell rights) of the titles you want to sell.
What is Resell-Rights?
Resell-rights (or resale-right as you will often encounter them) are pretty self-explanatory. When you purchase an e-book from an online store, you purchase the right to possess a copy of the e-book but you don’t have the right to resell it.
That is why, if you want to sell e-books online, you need to purchase not only the book but the rights to resell it. You wouldn’t like to get involved in a pirated e-book scheme, right?
Getting good e-books with resale rights is not difficult at all. Very often you can even purchase master-resell-rights. Master-resell-rights give you more right over the e-book and particularly the right to sell your customers the right to sell the book further.
Maybe it sounds very complicated but actually it isn’t. For instance, if you have 10 clients, who have online stores where they also sell e-books among other items, these clients will be interested in purchasing the master-resell-rights from you because otherwise they will not be able to legally sell the e-books on their website.
So, if you haven’t purchased the e-book with master-resell-rights, you will not be able to grant your customers the right to resell the e-book. Some people even bought books with resell rights or master resell rights but don’t know – this is what I called sitting on gold.
Generally master-resell-rights are more expensive than normal resell-rights but usually you can make more profits with master-resell-rights. However, my advice is that if you are new to the business of selling e-books online, at first you might go for resell rights only and after you expand your business and you have customers who want it, you can start looking for master resale rights packages.
What If I Need To Customize The E-book?
If you decide that you need unique content in addition to the e-books with resell rights, you can always become an e-book publisher.
Writing e-books is not so difficult and you can always find someone to outsource the task to if you’re not a writer or too busy to do it yourself.
You will need to purchase an e-book compiler and get e-book covers but both e-book compilers and e-book-covers can be found easily online and very often they are pretty cheap, so your e-book publishing venture will not cost you a fortune.
How-To Find A Good Private-Label, Resell-Rights or Master-Resell-Rights!
Good private label content is one of the most highly desired commodities on the internet and you want the one that is specific to niche market.
When you find a good private label content, which could be an article, reports and or manual that you may be disassembled, repackaged, bundled, altered and or extracted to create your own product without any additional payment to the original owner, pretty cool right?
The only caveat here is that whatever you do to the content must not violate any specific conditions or restrictions given by the original owner. An example would be, the owner specifies that you can use the content yourself but cannot give it away for free.
As you know that technology changes very rapidly; the same changes also apply to rules and regulations governing the websites and internet marketing. This makes some software to be obsolete faster than you can imagine. If you are investing in master resale rights that involve software, search engine optimization and/or info products that are more technology incline type of rights, you need to make sure they are up-to-date.
Software or info products that are obsolete, not current or too old will not be useful to you or the people that will buy them from you.
