Traffic Generation Checklist
Step 1 – Determine how you intend to generate traffic
a) Buy Traffic through Paid advertisement to jump start the process
b) Borrow Traffic through JVs and affiliates
c) Build traffic organically use social media and networking
d) All of the above
Step 2 – Set-up sales page with an opt-in and drive traffic to it through buying traffic (one or mixture of the followings)
• Google adwords
• Microsoft ads
• Facebook
• Twitter
• Instagram
• CPM Mail Drops
Step 3 – Create Viral Ebook and include branding opportunity for affiliates to include their own information. It may also include master resale rights. This will motivate them to distribute the e-book (see viral report checklist)
Step 4 – Contact my list and inform them of the opportunity and include the URL
Step 5 – Set-up sales page and create affiliate program so that affiliates can drive traffic to the site
Step 6 – Contact JV partners to ask if they can help me – Note: it is much easier to contact someone you’ve had some relationship with e.g someone I helped to sell something as an affiliate
Step 7 – W rite and Submit Article (see ezine article checklist)
• Use story to sell a product
• People want solution – remember to include the solution you’re solving in the benefits
• Include personal experience and thoughts
• Don’t forget call-to-action
• State the benefits of the product
• Grade the product e.g 4.5 out of 5 to make it more believable

• Promotional
• Step-by-Step
• Tips and Tricks
• Resource
Note: Tailor your article to blend in with what your final sales page is already doing
Step 8 – Join Forums and participate in various blogs in my related niche
Step 9 – How To Give The e-book in “Step 3” away (use two or mixture of the following list)
• Contact my list
• Newsletter list
• Partners
• Submit to Software site
• Thank you pages
• Unadvertised bonus
• Include it in pop-up window or exit page
• Include it in post scripts (P.S.)
• Include it in message board
